Barmoor Hub next to Barmoor Garage on main road between Ryton and Crawcrook.
Bus numbers 10, 10a, 10b all pass the door. Car parking and bike rack available.
Please remember to bring old teeshirts and yarn for the children’s recycling and your poorly bikes for maintenance
Giant swap/give and take stall – bring your unwanted (clean and working or easily mended) stuff – household, gifts, books, anything – your rubbish could be someone else’s treasure.
Garden info – composting, making pots, learn about biochar with the Hop Garden and Ruth Thompson.
Tombola stall with some great prizes.
Recyke yr bike will be there with hints on small repairs and maintenance and telling you how you can recycle your old bikes.
Gateshead Council will be giving advice on their recycling services.
Groundwork will be bringing some games and activities and talking about their electricals recycling project.
Pickle Palace are bringing their preserves which often use waste food and materials (in a good way!)
Jane is there showing you how to do small scale clothing repairs.
And there will be soup made from waste veg from the Paddock and Gibside Community Farm, bread made in Ryton by Nigel Wild and tea and cakes made by members.
All for only 20 p entry (10 p for children)
