Thank you to all food festivallers
A few thank yous … to the amazing 19 volunteers who helped out on the gates, with children’s activities, on the plant stall and the tombola, in the tea “shed”, covering first aid and in leafletting beforehand and clearing up afterwards. You are all wonderful people, we really appreciate it.
To Tom and Joe’s (Wylam) for the plants which they gave us to sell and keep the profit – if you’re in the area please shop there – a good old fashioned nursery.
To Blackhall Mill Community Association for the loan of equipment and tabards – let us know if we can return the favour.
To all stallholders and vendors for coming along and contributing – hope you had a successful day.
To all musicians who gave of their time and skills to make the day go with joy and a beat.
To all who came along despite the weather.
And to all of us volunteers in the core group who’ve survived another year – well done us!
Attended the Festival after seeing it advertised in the Transition Newcastle Newsletter and it was all that they said……! Have worked in Blaydon for the last 25 years and never knew this place existed; saw some old faces I knew and met some new people. Would definitely recommend it and in fact I have ever since to anyone who’ll listen! PH
Thank you Peter from all the TWiG group, we are so happy to hear nice words like yours to keep us going! Hope to see you next year, or at our next event to be decided soon. Watch this space.
Thank you
